Stay At The Westin Ka’anapali Ocean Resort Villas North and Hike Maui

Maui-black sandSituated on the western shore of beautiful Maui, Hawaii, The Westin Ka’anapali Ocean Resort Villas North is a luxurious resort with studio, one bedroom and two bedroom villas. The resort is home to many first-class amenities, including three pools, Ka’anapali beach access, a spa, kids club, tennis courts and so much more. The resort also offers many sightseeing options like helicopter tours, air conditioned coach tours, and parasailing tours to name a few. To me, the most intimate way to see the beauty of any local wilderness and wildlife is a good hike, so let’s take a look at how we can explore the island on foot. It’s time to lace up those hiking boots!
The Makahiku Falls hike in the Oheo Gulch, also known as the Seven Sacred Pools hike, is about one mile each way, and is the shorter hike. The Seven Sacred Pools hike begins in a rain forest in the Eastern Maui Mountain valleys, and goes all the way down to sea level. A great hike for novice to advanced hikers, just be careful on muddy trails and slippery rocks, as the waterfalls can make things a bit slick.
Maui Coastline‘Iao Valley State Park, located in Central Maui, is a perfect day hike. It is the site of a historic 1790 battle in which King Kamehameha conquered Maui’s warriors in the Battle of Kepaniwa in pursuit of uniting the islands. The park is known for its relatively easy going hikes, swimming holes, waterfalls and picnic areas. Parking is five dollars and a one dollar donation for entry.
For the more hardcore and experienced hiker, check out the Kauopo Gap Trail at the Haleakala Crater. This 8.3 mile trail provides two options, in or out of the gap, The “out of the gap” option is more popular, with hikers starting at the Paliku Cabin at the Kaleakala National Park. Travel downhill through dry brushlands, native forests, and ancient lava formations. At 3,800 feet you pass through the parks boundaries through the Kauopo Ranch and finally to the coast. During your descent the Pacific is always below you offering breathtaking views.
Maui Sunset Maui has so many hiking options, buying a Westin Ka’anapali Ocean Resort Villas North timeshare resale is a great way to explore Maui every year. Hawaii Timeshares Offer Endless Adventure

HA-airplaneAt the end of August, I’ll be on a plane to the beautiful island of Oahu. This won’t be my first time in paradise. I’ve been to Oahu twice, as well as Kauai, Maui and the Big Island (spoiled, I know). Normally, going to one place so many times would get boring, but Hawaii never does. Beyond the breath-taking views and crystal blue waters that everyone is sure to enjoy, there is a lot to do in Hawaii that keeps it interesting and makes each visit unique. Here is my list of a few things I’m excited to return to and some new things I’m excited to try.

HA-beach1. Of course, lying on the beach and listening to the soothing ocean sounds is my number one priority. While Utah’s landscape has a lot to offer, it is seriously lacking a sunny sea to escape to. My landlocked woes always melt away the instant I land in Hawaii, and I’m sure this trip will be no exception. I fully plan on getting my fix and then some during this vacation.

2. Paddle boarding. I’ll be visiting my aunt and uncle who live on Oahu during my trip and they have promised to show me the wonders of paddle boarding. I’ve heard mixed reviews on this oceanic sport. Some reviews have been overwhelmingly positive, while others have been less than impressed. My family swears by it, not only for fun, but for a fabulous workout. Although I’m a little afraid of water, I’m excited to jump in and try my sea legs on a paddleboard.

HA-seaturtle3. Sea turtles. Who wouldn’t be excited about sea turtles? One of my fondest vacation memories was snorkeling with a sea turtle last time I was on the Big Island. I’m excited to revisit my turtle friends at a semi-secret turtle beach that my family found. Sunbathing and snorkeling with sea turtles in their natural habitat is something only Hawaii can provide and it’s a magical experience.

4. Food and drinks. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Hawaii is flooded with fine dining establishments. Ranging everywhere from Marriott’s Ko’Olina Beach Club premier steak and seafood restaurant to Matsumoto’s Shave Ice, Oahu offers good food for any budget. On top of delicious dining, I plan to indulge in a few classic Hawaiian cocktails like the lovely Lava Flow while sitting on the beach.

HA-aloha5. Something adventurous. I’ve explored the Dole Plantation maze and eaten their homemade pineapple ice cream, I’ve sat through a traditional Hawaiian Luau at the beautiful Polynesian Cultural Center, I’ve swam with dolphins in a Hawaiian wildlife preserve and I’ve slept in a hut in the rainforest. However, there are so many other amazing Hawaiian adventures to be had. Perhaps I’ll go cliff jumping or take a helicopter tour or finally learn to surf. Whatever you can dream of doing, Hawaii makes it possible.

HA-resortIt’s clear to see, you can never go to Hawaii just once. Check out our great deals on Hawaiian timeshares and make it easy for you and your family to experience the wonders of paradise. Golfing on any number of the island’s famous golf courses is a memorable experience. The island is home to over 14 golf courses, many of which adorn the “world’s best” lists. Home to the PGA’s Tournament of Champions, it is a common occurrence to see golf pro’s teeing off at any of the Arnold Palmer or Ben Crenshaw-designed courses. With greens framed by awe-inspiring rainbows, tees surrounded by tropical palm groves, and fairways lined by the island’s ancient lava flows, the dramatic landscape of Maui’s famed courses simply cannot be rivaled.

Owning a Maui timeshare allows you trade in your cell phone and laptop for the brilliant sounds of cascading waters at the Pools of Oheo. As soon as you step off of the plane, you’ll realize that connecting to Maui’s inspiring natural beauty takes precedence over checking your emails. Unplug the alarm clock and spend the day leisurely tanning on one of Maui’s beautiful beaches, diving into its pristine waters, perusing the shops of Lahaina, taking a drive through the majestic mountains of Upcountry Maui, and enjoying the palette-tempting local cuisine. Timeshare Travel Tips: Plan Your Family Vacation Now

The end of February is just around the corner, and with the brutal winter that much of the country has seen this year, many families are beginning to map out their spring break or summer vacations. Read on for a few tips about how to plan your family trip smart and make the most out of the vacation time together.

Make a travel wish list—wherever you’re going, talk to everybody in the family and see what they’re interested in doing there? Dad wants to visit revolutionary wartime pubs, Mom wants to see a Shakespeare in Boston Common, our ten year old wants to see the USS Constitution, and the 5 year old wants icecream. Done. Our family should be staying in Marriott’s Custom House.

Research, research, research—should our travel route include freeways or scenic drives? Should we plan to travel early, midday or evening? Finding the best flights and deciding where to eat aren’t in the same category, but researching both will let you make the most out of your limited time. TripAdvisor has some great ideas for destinations, itineraries, and attractions.

Choose a destination for everyone—cruises and theme parks like Disneyland or Disneyworld often make family vacations easier. Adults aren’t just sitting around waiting for kids to get done riding rollercoasters—there are exciting options for everyone, like spending the night in a treehouse, or strolling around the Food and Wine festivals at Epcot.

Memorable vacations can occur in any destination, but choosing one that fits your family’s interests, budgetary limitations, and accommodation preferences will help ensure that spending several days at a time with your family is not just bearable—it’s enjoyable! Places like New York City can exhilarate, while any number of Hawaii timeshare resale resorts will bathe you in the lap of luxury and exquisite tranquility. You just have to find which works for you.Family-vacation-timeshare-resalae

That’s where research comes in! Especially if you’re thinking about buying or selling a timeshare resale, please do your research before transferring money or signing contracts. Using a licensed real estate agent in good reputation who NEVER CHARGES UPFRONT FEES is a good way to avoid scams, and talking your vacation options over with someone who is not a high-pressure salesperson can help you explore what may be right for your family.
