Hawaii Timeshares Offer Endless Adventure

HA-airplaneAt the end of August, I’ll be on a plane to the beautiful island of Oahu. This won’t be my first time in paradise. I’ve been to Oahu twice, as well as Kauai, Maui and the Big Island (spoiled, I know). Normally, going to one place so many times would get boring, but Hawaii never does. Beyond the breath-taking views and crystal blue waters that everyone is sure to enjoy, there is a lot to do in Hawaii that keeps it interesting and makes each visit unique. Here is my list of a few things I’m excited to return to and some new things I’m excited to try.

HA-beach1. Of course, lying on the beach and listening to the soothing ocean sounds is my number one priority. While Utah’s landscape has a lot to offer, it is seriously lacking a sunny sea to escape to. My landlocked woes always melt away the instant I land in Hawaii, and I’m sure this trip will be no exception. I fully plan on getting my fix and then some during this vacation.

2. Paddle boarding. I’ll be visiting my aunt and uncle who live on Oahu during my trip and they have promised to show me the wonders of paddle boarding. I’ve heard mixed reviews on this oceanic sport. Some reviews have been overwhelmingly positive, while others have been less than impressed. My family swears by it, not only for fun, but for a fabulous workout. Although I’m a little afraid of water, I’m excited to jump in and try my sea legs on a paddleboard.

HA-seaturtle3. Sea turtles. Who wouldn’t be excited about sea turtles? One of my fondest vacation memories was snorkeling with a sea turtle last time I was on the Big Island. I’m excited to revisit my turtle friends at a semi-secret turtle beach that my family found. Sunbathing and snorkeling with sea turtles in their natural habitat is something only Hawaii can provide and it’s a magical experience.

4. Food and drinks. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Hawaii is flooded with fine dining establishments. Ranging everywhere from Marriott’s Ko’Olina Beach Club premier steak and seafood restaurant to Matsumoto’s Shave Ice, Oahu offers good food for any budget. On top of delicious dining, I plan to indulge in a few classic Hawaiian cocktails like the lovely Lava Flow while sitting on the beach.

HA-aloha5. Something adventurous. I’ve explored the Dole Plantation maze and eaten their homemade pineapple ice cream, I’ve sat through a traditional Hawaiian Luau at the beautiful Polynesian Cultural Center, I’ve swam with dolphins in a Hawaiian wildlife preserve and I’ve slept in a hut in the rainforest. However, there are so many other amazing Hawaiian adventures to be had. Perhaps I’ll go cliff jumping or take a helicopter tour or finally learn to surf. Whatever you can dream of doing, Hawaii makes it possible.

Spend the day building sandcastles on one of Maui’s world-famous beaches. Catch the 1890’s Sugar-Cane Train for a trip down the Lahaina-Kaanapali Railroad. Visit the Haleakala Visitor Center and watch your little ones become Junior Rangers, or let them enjoy one of the many hands-on exhibits at Wailuku’s Hawaii Nature Center. The family-friendly activities on Maui are endless. Best of all, many Maui timeshare resale properties have children’s programs that include numerous activities, such as hula lessons, which help create truly unique memories that can be cherished for years.

For nature viewing above water, humpback whales can often be spotted by boat off the coast of Kaanapali Beach. Historic Lahaina Beach offers some of the best surfing, windsurfing, and kite boarding conditions in the entire world. For land lovers, try a horseback trip up the dormant volcano of Haleakala. Buying a timeshare in Maui allows you to witness and take in the amazing arts and culture that this emerald isle has to offer. A trip to the Whaler’s Village Museum can bring you up close and personal to Maui’s unique whaling history, the Alexander & Baldwin Sugar Museum allows you delve into the island’s rich agricultural past, and taking a trip down the Lahaina Historic Trail provides you with a unique way of discovering the charming heritage of this thriving seaport village.

Maui is also home to a thriving arts scene. With exhibitions and events taking place weekly around the island, including the Maui Arts and Cultural Center and Art Night that takes place every Friday in Lahaina, Maui’s rich history and natural beauty is constantly on display by talented local artists and artisans.

Maui Timeshares are Ideal for Golfers

Golfing on any number of the island’s famous golf courses is a memorable experience. The island is home to over 14 golf courses, many of which adorn the “world’s best” lists. Home to the PGA’s Tournament of Champions, it is a common occurrence to see golf pro’s teeing off at any of the Arnold Palmer or Ben Crenshaw-designed courses. With greens framed by awe-inspiring rainbows, tees surrounded by tropical palm groves, and fairways lined by the island’s ancient lava flows, the dramatic landscape of Maui’s famed courses simply cannot be rivaled.

Experience Ultimate Relaxation with Maui Timeshares

Owning a Maui timeshare allows you trade in your cell phone and laptop for the brilliant sounds of cascading waters at the Pools of Oheo. As soon as you step off of the plane, you’ll realize that connecting to Maui’s inspiring natural beauty takes precedence over checking your emails. Unplug the alarm clock and spend the day leisurely tanning on one of Maui’s beautiful beaches, diving into its pristine waters, perusing the shops of Lahaina, taking a drive through the majestic mountains of Upcountry Maui, and enjoying the palette-tempting local cuisine. America’s Top 5 Sunsets: Maui to Massachusetts

Welcome, Daylight Saving Time. You always come just in time for us all to be disheartened when we leave work and it’s already growing dark, foreshadowing the long, cold nights of winter ahead of us. Some are lucky to catch a glimpse of sunset when leaving work this time of year, before it disappears from our days almost altogether. Sunsets are worth seeing, though, and if you have an inclination for that sort of thing, these top 5 sunset locations will be a definite addition to your must-see list.

  • Mount Halaekala in Maui stands at a regal 10,000 feet in altitude, and watching the sunset from amongst the clouds is an unforgettable experience as golden prism of lights break through the mist. Watch closely and you might get a peek at the fabled green flash as the sun sinks into the ocean. Maui timeshare resales are abundant as well for travelers who plan to return to the area.

  • Laguna Beach is only an hour away from Los Angeles and close to several southern California timeshare resorts in Palm Desert and Palm Springs.  This beach is known for its enchanting sunsets over an unbroken horizon and sea-dancing reflections.

  • The Grand Canyon. Some say that Hopi Point is the prime location to catch the commanding views of the canyon and the Colorado river flashing the last rays of the sun sinking below the horizon’s wide expanse above the mile-deep canyon.

  • With very little light pollution at 8,000 feet elevation, Santa Fe, New Mexico offers a host of historic ruins from which to watch the tremendously colorful sunsets. Most visitors head to Old Fort Marcy Park, but there are plenty of options for viewing in the area as well as Santa Fe timeshare resale resorts to look into if you fall in love with Santa Fe (it’s not hard to do).

  • The lighthouse at the Gay Head Cliffs in Aquinnah, Massachusetts on Martha’s Vineyard offers stunning views of the water and bold red reflections in the clay of the cliffs. A longtime summer destination, the island does have a couple of Martha’s Vineyard timeshare resort properties, although most Summer People tend to own a second home on the island. Still, it’s worth visiting for its quaint New England charm and variety of views and summer activities.
