Marriott’s Grande Vista Timeshares Offer Endless Fun

Marriott's Grand VistaIn a recent trip to Orlando, my husband and I stayed at Marriott’s Grande Vista in Orlando, Florida. The resort was easy to find and centrally located. Disney and Universal Studios are just a short drive away and Sea World is just down the road. Personally, I’m not a big fan of franchise restaurants, but if you are then Orlando is your Candy Land. From fast food chains, to fast food casual dining chains to high-end dining franchises. They are all there in Orlando.

Orlando FloridaThe property itself is expansive with a large lake in the center of the resort. Golf lovers will be happy to find a Nick Faldo Golf Institute and top-rated golf course right on property. From inside our villa we could hear the golfers yelling “four!”

Marriott’s Grande Vista also has multiple pools to choose from and hot tubs for soaking achy muscles after long days of navigating the theme parks. No matter which pool you choose, a grill is nearby serving great food and fun poolside drinks.

The rooms are pleasantly decorated and the kitchen is complete with all the items you need to cook a few meals if you like. The villas have two bedrooms, a Master bedroom and a Guest Suite. The Master sleeps two and has its own private bathroom and soaking tub. The Guest Suite has a queen bed and a pull-out sofa bed, sleeping four. The living area contains a second sleeper sofa, bringing the total to eight.

Disney WorldOn our visit, we chose to visit Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom and Epcot Center. As adults, we enjoyed Animal Kingdom and Epcot the most. However, all three parks do a wonderful job of transporting you to a world only Disney could create. It’s worth noting that Disney sells alcohol at both Animal Kingdom and Epcot but not at Magic Kingdom. We were lucky to visit during Epcot’s Fall Wine Festival. We spent the evening tasting delicacies and sipping wines from places around the world like Italy, France, Spain, Ireland and Thailand. Then we finished the night enjoying incredible desserts as we watched fireworks exploding into the sky over the lake.

We also spent an evening each at Downtown Disney and Universal Walk, perusing the shops, dining and nightlife. Options for entertainment certainly abound in Orlando. From sunrise to beyond sunset, there is never a dull moment. I don’t know how Mickey Mouse does it all!

Orlando Timeshares: The Ultimate Family Vacation

Orlando-disney land

The Greater Orlando Metropolitan area is the third largest metro area in Florida with a population of over two million residents. Each year, more than 51 million tourists travel to Orlando, largely because the city has become “The Theme Park Capital of the World,” with Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and Sea World. The Orlando International Airport has become the 13th busiest airport in the nation. With all this popularity, wouldn’t you rather buy an Orlando timeshare resale than be fighting to get accommodations?

Orlando Timeshares: Activities & Leisure

Orlando has been providing family fun for years. The Travel Channel lists the city’s top attractions as Walt Disney World, which encompasses several theme parks, Sea World, and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios.

Orland houses other attractions besides theme parks though, including plenty of beaches within an hour’s drive, as well as several golf courses. In addition, there are numerous shopping venues, including the Florida Mall and a variety of local and chain restaurants.

Orlando Timeshares: An Enduring Location

Since Orlando features so many family-friendly attractions, it’s become one of the most popular vacation spots to repeatedly return to, especially during summer. Therefore, many families consider buying a timeshare resale as an affordable alternative to constantly hunting for hotel reservations. The cost of a timeshare is split between multiple timeshare owners, and this lets each new timeshare owner spend at least one week at their timeshare when it’s most convenient and at a much more affordable rate.

In fact, Orlando offers more timeshare resorts than any other city in the United States, boasting more than 16,000 timeshare resorts in the area. Orlando timeshares will feature all the amenities of a first-class resort but with the privacy of having your own place. You’ll find gourmet kitchens to cook in, a private patio or balcony to watch the sunset and a sparkling outdoor pool. As most of these timeshares have been created with families in mind, some are located right near the theme parks, while others are further out closer to the water for recreational sports.

Orlando, Florida: Where Timeshares Flourish

While Orlando may be one of top family destinations, families don’t look forward to overcrowded hotels or overpriced rates, especially during the summer and the holidays when children are out of school. Orlando features several luxury 4-star resorts, which make the prices of hotel accommodations even higher, and many travelers don’t have money for the other option of renting a vacation home nearby. Therefore, buying an Orlando timeshare provides the best choices for families to explore the numerous attractions in the city.

The Orlando timeshare resorts are divided along several areas. Some are situated right along International Drive, with access to all the theme parks, while others are located downtown nearby the convention center. Other timeshares are located just slightly outside Orlando in Kissimmee or Lake Buena Vista but it’s still close to all the fun.

The plethora of attractions in Orlando makes buying a timeshare in Orlando a wise family vacation investment. Children of all ages will appreciate the creativity and animation at all of Walt Disney’s theme parks, while older children will enjoy seeing how TV shows and movies are created at Universal Studios. Teenagers will love sunbathing or learning how to surf at Cocoa Beach or even learning how to swim with dolphins at Discovery Cove. Parents will enjoy the local boutiques as well as the extensive shopping malls. In addition, Orlando also houses several golf courses, including the Bay Hill Club and Lodge, where the Arnold Palmer Invitational is held. Orlando is the perfect vacation spot to bring your multi-generational family from grandparents to toddlers and a timeshare will provide enough room for everyone to stay comfortably.

Orlando typically has two seasons, a warm and rainy season June through September, and a milder, drier season the rest of the year. With its warm temperatures, it’s obvious why people return to Orlando each year.
