New Marriott Vacation Club Locations

Marriott Vacation Club continues to expand their North American and worldwide presence, with two brand new acquisitions in addition to the three new Marriott Vacation Club resorts being added in Hawaii, Miami, and San Diego. The two new resorts are located in Australia and Washington, D.C.

Australia's Gold Coast

Australia’s Gold Coast

In August, Marriott purchased the Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort & Spa Gold Coast in Queensland on Australia’s Gold Coast. Currently Marriott plans to convert eight dedicated floors into 88 one bedroom and studio vacation villas for timeshare ownership. They expect that the first units will be converted and a new sales gallery will be completed in the first half of 2016.

Australia’s Gold Coast boasts 300 days of sunshine each year and is known for ideal year-round temperatures and ideal surfing conditions. Long established as a popular Queensland tourist destination, the Gold Coast offers more than can be explored in just one vacation, with national parks, surf beaches, entertainment, restaurants, shopping and more right at your doorstep. This is an exciting addition to Marriott’s Asia-Pacific offerings.

Back in the U.S., Marriott Vacation Club purchased 71 rooms in the Mayflower Hotel located in the heart of Washington, D.C. with plans to make them part of the Marriott Vacation Club ownership program. These units are available now through the Marriott Vacation Club Destinations exchange program.

The Mayflower Hotel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Spend your day touring the sights of the nation’s capitol, including those nearby like the White House, the Smithsonian Institution or the National Gallery of Art and then return to the refined luxury of this beautiful property which includes a restaurant, fitness center and rooms featuring flat-screen televisions, complimentary Wi-Fi and daily housekeeping service.

These two exciting new destinations are in addition to the Marriott Vacation Club Resort offerings announced earlier this year coming soon to Miami, San Diego and Hawaii. But why wait until all of these resorts become available? Talk to a licensed timeshare professional today about a vacation ownership.
