The answer probably is: too long!
At Disney’s Old Key West Resort, you’ll find all of these amenities and more right outside your villa’s doorstep. Still curious about exactly what the Keys can offer you on your bodacious getaway? Here are some of the highlights from this premier Disney resort.
Of course, Disney is going to make sure you have the best on-resort water amenities possible. This resort comes with a 125-foot water slide through a giant sand castle that lets out into a glassy blue pool. A sand beach surrounds the resort’s 149,600-gallon feature pool complete with decorative dolphins that spout water at excited swimmers.
If you are looking for some peace and quiet on your trip, the resort has three all-ages pools, each with a whirlpool spa, that offer quiet areas for complete relaxation. Complete the day in the dry sauna located inside the pool deck’s lighthouse.
Olivia Farnsworth was a long-time local inhabiting a small cottage along the Turtle Krawl, just upwind of the strip. This culinary craftswoman would invite locals and travelers alike into her kitchen for island-inspired grub.
Eventually, Olivia opened Olivia’s Cafe, which has become a popular eatery for everyone in town. It’s largely recognized as a must-visit spot by locals and visitors who want a taste of the native color the Florida Keys offer.
3. Rockin’ Recreation
Disney’s Old Key West Resort is full of fun recreation for the whole family to enjoy.
Next to the main pool you’ll find the “Recreation, Exercise, Swimming and Tennis” complex, which offers state-of-the-art exercise equipment and a relaxing sauna for your rejuvenating pleasure.
Although you may never want to leave the resort, all of this fun is just a boat ride away from Downtown Disney, where your family can sing, dance and celebrate with all of your favorite Disney characters!
Don’t go too long without pampering yourself and your family. Next time someone asks when the last time you spent a romantic evening on the ocean was, you’ll say “last week!”
